SCRIPPS ALCOHOL
RESEARCH CENTER VIRTUAL
MENTORSHIP PROGRAM

Welcome!

Welcome to the Scripps Alcohol Research Center Virtual Mentorship Program! Our high school neuroscience course is a unique blend of scientific inquiry, creativity, and virtual engagement. Designed for students passionate about STEM and neurological sciences, this program explores the intricate effects of alcohol and drugs on the brain, dives into various aspects of neurological health and disease, and prepares students for a successful future in science. Through our interactive Zoom sessions, students will not only grasp complex scientific concepts but will also demonstrate their understanding and creativity by producing a summative media piece, such as artwork, videos, social media posts, or even webpages. Join us for an enlightening experience that bridges the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application in the fascinating world of neurological science.
